We offer 3 services: Tea Party Supplies Rental, Tea Party Delivery, and Tea Party Hosting.

Cancellation Policy

Retainer Payment

A 25% retainer payment is required in order to finalize your order after your initial inquiry. The retainer is fully refundable for the first 48 hours, except for last-minute bookings.

General Cancellations

Cancellations unrelated to weather within 72 hours of the event will result in forfeiting 100% of the cost.

Weather-Related Cancellations

If within 48 hours of the event the weather forecast predicts poor weather, you will have the option to cancel and receive a refund of 75% of the total cost, reschedule your event, or move from an outdoor to an indoor location if you’re able to acquire one. We reserve the right to refuse service in severe weather.

Location and Setup

Service Area

We are located in Burlington, MA and serve the greater Boston area. There are no additional fees as long as the location is within 10 miles of Burlington. For locations beyond 10 miles of Burlington, $3 per mile will be charged.

Locations

We are happy to bring a tea party to either public or private locations such as homes, event venues, and public parks. Please note that it is your responsibility to acquire a proper venue for the tea party, including making necessary reservations and abiding by the event policies in public places.

What’s Included in Setup?

Setup varies according to the package you choose, but generally includes a full tea set including teacups, saucers, appetizer plates, tea spoons, dessert forks, and cloth napkins for everyone in your party, as well as a pretty teapot, milk pitcher, sugar bowl, tiered dessert stand, appetizer serving tray, serving tongs/spoons, butter knives, and decorative lace doilies. We have a selection of tablecloths and table runners if needed, but we do not provide tables or seating. All perishable items (from tea and finger foods to milk and sugar) depend on the package you select. No perishables are included in the tea party rental package.
